The Reel History Collection is a unique collection of audiotapes produced on open reels at Langara College, Vancouver, British Columbia (BC) in the 1970s. Many of the resources in this collection are original lectures by prominent local historians, researchers, or interviews with local First Nations personalities. Some of the audio resources have accompanying guides or visual material, such as slides and photographs associated with them.
The open reels have been digitally reproduced for this site. To hear the audio files you will need to use a RealPlayer G2. The RealNetworks Web page has a free RealPlayer G2 that you can download. The RealNetworks page will be opened in a new browser window. To return to The Reel History Collection after downloading select "close" from the file menu in your browser.
