Interlibrary Loan

The library's links with other B.C. post-secondary libraries and membership in the Media Exchange Cooperative enable us to obtain books, photocopied articles, videos, and films for you.

When you don't have a specific title in mind, media librarian Niina Mitter (local 5290) can recommend audiovisual titles to meet your instructional needs.

If an item you request is unavailable within BC, an out-of-province source can be sought.

Although interlibrary loan service is free to you, on average Langara library pays $6.00 for each item requested. Therefore, when you are working on an extensive research project, we encourage you to take advantage of the in-person borrowing privileges offered to Langara faculty by UBC and SFU libraries.
