Library Card

Bring your Langara photo ID card to the Check Out Desk to get a library barcode attached to borrow books, videos, journals, and more.

You can get your photo ID at the Instructional Media Services counter (for hours, call local 5309). Besides serving as your library card, it will be useful for identification and security, and for borrowing or purchasing academic items at other educational institutions.

On occasions when you don't have your card with you, staff at the Check Out Desk (local 5462) can still help you sign out library materials.

Continuing Studies faculty: Library privileges are valid for the duration of your contract. If you need to borrow library materials or use library licensed databases outside of your contract dates, please contact Joanne Bydal (local 5214) to arrange it.
