Services for Students with Disabilities
College services for students with disabilities are organized by Suzanne Munson, the Disabilities Services Coordinator (local 5635), who is available for consultation and arranges for aides and taped books or other alternate format materials. Depending upon the nature of the disability, alternate formats are provided by B.C. College and Institute Library Service (CILS) located at Langara College.
Students with documented disabilities have access to the Adaptive Technology Lab in the library (1st floor). Consult Vivian Feng (local 5346) about services or flexible borrowing arrangements. When you are planning assignments for students with visual or learning disabilities, your subject librarian can help you determine what topics are well covered in our library.
