Wireless Connection in the Library
Langara Library offers wireless Internet access points on all floors of the Library. Connection is available to Langara students, staff and faculty. If you have a laptop with a wireless network card or a PDA with a JAVA enabled Web browser, you will have wireless access to:
- Library catalogues
- Research Databases on the library's website
- Course websites
- Internet, including web-based email services
- Access to H: J: and I: drives (Mac: Falcon, Eagle or Jay), via myfiles netStorage.
**NOTE: No printing is available from the wireless connection.**
Eduroam
Langara College is a member of the eduroam (Education Roaming) network. Students, staff, and faculty of eduroam institutions can use their home campus login IDs and passwords to get secure wireless access at campuses around the world.

Logging In
To use this service you must be a Langara student, staff or faculty member with a valid Langara Novell Login ID. For students, the Novell Login ID is the same as the Computer Lab User ID.

Please note that Langara College Library does not provide any technical support for connection problems, or your computer. For problems with your computer, you must contact the manufacturer or distributor of your computer.
Security
The library assumes no responsibility for damage to your computer and/or software that may result from using the Langara Wireless Network. The library also assumes no responsibility for theft of personal property, including computer equipment, while you are in the library, so please do not leave your computer unattended at any time. Report any theft to Security immediately. Campus Security can be reached at local 5270, or by calling 604-253-7596 and leaving a message for pager 8588.
Computer Use Policy
